As of this morning, Cambodia has won 3 medals from the Southeast Asian & Invitation Championship in Singapore

(Phnom Penh): As of the morning of May 12, 2025, the Cambodia national wrestling team has won 3 medals during the first 2 days of the Southeast Asian & Invitation Championship 2025 in Singapore, including 1 silver medal and 2 bronze medals.

For the achievements from the first and second days of the competition, including: male player Soeun Sophoas won the silver medal in the 61 kg freestyle wrestling event, male player Chhoeun Chheang won the bronze medal in the 74 kg freestyle wrestling event, and male player Bun Bunna won the 70kg freestyle wrestling event. At the elementary time, Cambodia has temporarily won a total of 3 medals (1 silver and 2 bronze medals) while 1 day left in the competition today.

It should be noted that, the International Wrestling Event of the Southeast Asian & Invitation Championship 2025, has for three days from May 10-12, 2025, with Cambodia sent 12 athletes to participate under the sponsorship of Mr. KC Barnett, Vice President of the Federation, with the aim of testing and measuring, as well as polishing and strengthening the capabilities of Cambodia wrestlers to be better to prepare for the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand at the end of 2025.
