After the ending of the Olympics Solidarity Coaching Course of Volleyball Level C on Saturday afternoon, July 5, 2025, Mr. Dusan Jarotta, an instructor from the International Volleyball Federation, praised the good teamwork of participants who attended the important five-day course. Not only that, all participants also made an effort to absorb the knowledge from the teaching and demonstrate the lessons as well as their own practice.
The Swiss instructor added that, what Cambodian volleyball coaches need is a vision to set the clear training goals. He hopes that all the coaches will put the lessons he has taught into practice. He also advised all participants to take good care of their health and enjoy their work as coaches.
H.E. Buy Sophoan, Permanent Advisor of the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia (NOCC), who presided over the closing ceremony, praised and highly appreciated the efforts of all the participants in absorbing new knowledge from the FIVB international instructors regarding the fundamental principles of volleyball coaching.
His Excellency emphasized that, this training course will contribute significantly to the development of volleyball in Cambodia, and all participants will use the new knowledge and techniques they have learned to develop the athletes resources towards success in national and international competitions, especially in joining with the federation to develop the resources of grassroots and athlete in preparation for the 2029 Asian Youth Games in the Kingdom of Cambodia.
The Olympic Solidarity Coaching Course of Volleyball Level C began from 1 to 5 July 2025 at the headquarters of the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia, with the participation of 45 participants.
Mr. Ang Sereypiseth, Secretary General of the Cambodia Volleyball Federation, said that this coaching course is very important to develop the capacity of volleyball coaches in Cambodia to have the international standards which recognized by the World Volleyball Federation. In fact, currently, Cambodia volleyball coaches do not have the international certificates yet, so this is a good opportunity to cultivate the international coaching resources as Cambodians.
