Cambodia Volleyball Federation announces to choose youth under-14 years old

Dr. Ang Sereipiseth, Vice President and Secretary General of the Cambodia Volleyball Federation, has revealed that the federation plans to form a team of youth aged under-14 years old, to prepare for the 2029 Asian Youth Games. The Candidates of youth must be 13 years old down and have 1.80 meters tall.

For the selection, the Secretary General said that, they can be selected from the primary school sports events of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports and cooperate with various provinces. After being selected, there will be a gathering to stay and train in Phnom Penh in collaboration with the Visakha Volleyball Club.

Not only training in sports skills, Dr. Ang Sereipiseth said that, young students can continue their studies to the university level which covered by the Cambodia Volleyball Federation to have more knowledge and more social skills, that can take up any job according to their interests after stopping from their sports career. When they turn to 18 years old, they can also join any other professional team.

This is the addition of another level of grassroots youth team of the Cambodia Volleyball Federation, above the existing under-18 youth team.
