The Cambodia Karate Federation organizes the Karate Intermediate Technical Coaching Course to Strengthen Capacity and Unity

The Cambodia Karate Federation opened the Karate Intermediate Technical Coaching Course to strengthen the skills of coaches from associations/clubs towards developing and strengthening technical unity in both performance and fighting disciplines. This was stated by Mr. Nop Vantharo, Deputy Secretary General of the Federation, at the opening ceremony in the evening of December 11 at the headquarters of the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia (NOCC).

The same federation official considered that, this coaching course is an important course for all coaches in the field of karate in order to strengthen their capacity and techniques for development in the training of athletes from associations/clubs. In this task, he urged and encouraged all participants to study hard and learn as well as to extract experience and knowledge from the instructors, who are all senior coaches and have many years of experience in the field of karate.

The Above Deputy Secretary General of the Federation continued that, “This is an important course for all coaches in karate, clubs, associations and all karate players. I have seen that this technical coaching course reflected the will and sacrifice of all participants to gain knowledge and increase their abilities, talents, qualities and techniques through learning and we can agree on the same level of technique in both performance and fighting.”

This arrangement is in line with the strategy and vision of the Federation’s leadership to train and strengthen human resources in all quantity, quality and capabilities, especially the resources of coaches, who are important individuals in contributing to the sustainable development of karate sector. Therefore, although it is a short course, he strongly hopes that the participants who participate in this course will gain the new knowledge to implement in their martial arts schools as well as associations and clubs. Mr. Nop Vantharo added.

According to the report of Mr. Dek Phearak, Deputy Secretary General and a national assistant coach confirmed that: This technical coaching course has 5 days from December 11 to 15, 2024, with a total of 40 participants from 40 martial arts schools and associations/clubs. The study was divided into 3 parts, including:

1. Karate training pedagogy, how to organize competitions and competition groups.

2. Explanation of basic techniques and kata.

3. Explanation of fighting techniques.
