Dance Sport Federation of Cambodia Opened the Intermediate coaches Training Course

The Dance Sport Federation of Cambodia organized the intermediate coaches training course in the morning of Thursday, September 12, 2024 at the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia, this course is running for 6 days with 26 participants.

Lork Oknha Pech Polen, Vice President of the Dance Sport Federation of Cambodia, said that: The dance sport in Cambodia is in one stage that needed to be further developed, while the domestic environment is less widely known. Therefore, after training to find results for the country, and now the athletes need to reach the level of personal development to be higher.

The Vice President of the Federation continued that: The resources of local dance coaches are really difficult to find. Therefore, the athletes who participate in this course will be able to gain the new knowledge and skills to share and participate in training the new youth resources.

The training course, which will end on September 18, will focus on the basics of professional artist’s skills and strategic sports to promote expanding the potential and popularity of artists, technical principles, Latin techniques, coaching pedagogy, participating importance in competition,  WDS rules, Anti-Doping, fitness training, technical testing and regulations.
