“All stakeholders, especially young athletes, must clearly
understand the preparation for participation to ensure safety in participation
and competition with rigor in leadership and management, etc.” This was said by
H.E. Vath Chamroeun, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Education, Youth and
Sports, at a seminar on discipline and ethics for officials, coaches, assistant
coaches, and athletes at the Sports Training Center on Thursday morning,
October 2, before participating in the 2025 Asian Youth Games in Bahrain in
mid-October.

H.E. Vath Chamroeun continued that, this is a valuable event
because, out of technical competition, it is also an important preparation as
Cambodia prepares to host the 4th Asian Youth Games in 2029. Therefore,
organizing this workshop is really important for training and educating in
various ways before departure, which means that the players and coaches must
respect their roles and leaders are also ready to coordinate and resolve all
issues for a smooth and successful.

The event of the Asian Youth Games in Bahrain will be held
from October 22 to 31. In this, Cambodia is preparing to compete in 13
categories, with a total of approximately 140 delegates, coaches and athletes.
At the same time, Cambodia is also sending a special delegation, including a
Khmer art and martial arts team, to celebrate the flag-raising ceremony as the
next host of the 4th Asian Youth Games in 2029, which Cambodia will host.
