Phnom Penh: While the event of the 30th Angkor International Half Marathon is approaching, on December 7, 2025, there are 16,000 national and international runners from 86 countries around the world have registered, including more than 3,000 international runners.
The Angkor International Half Marathon is the largest running event in Cambodia among other running events. This year is the 30th anniversary of the running event, so the organization and entertainment programs will be even more special for participants.

This is the first year that the number of registered participants has exceeded expectations, while last year (2024) there were only over 14,000 participants in the Angkor International Marathon.
Meanwhile, according to the announcement of the Cambodia Marathon Commission said that, the Organizing Commission of the race will not allow those who have not registered in advance or do not have a number plate on them to participate in the race.
The commission will have a pre-departure inspection team to avoid problems affecting the preparation of water and health drinks for all registered participants.

In particular, maintaining safety and identification data is essential through the race bib of athletes in case of accidental incidents during the race.
The announcement of the organizing commission after past events, many unregistered participants and had no number plates on them also participated, making it difficult to manage and verify the exact data of participants.
It should be confirmed that, all registered participants must go to collect their materials for running at the Khan Yat Hotel on National Road 6A, Chong Kao Su Village, Slar Kram Commune, Siem Reap City on December 4 to 6 from 9 am to 6 pm.
