Siem Reap: The 30th Angkor International Half Marathon Day 2025 in Siem Reap province in the morning of December 7, 2025, there are 16,000 national and international participants who from more than 80 countries.

H.E. Sun Chanthol, Deputy Prime Minister, and is highest representative of Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, expressed a warm welcome to the national and international participants who have traveled to Angkor, a great World Heritage Site. Especially in participating in the 30th Angkor International Half Marathon Day, which has made this wonderful event even more extraordinary.

His Excellency further said that the event of the 30th Angkor International Half Marathon has attracted 16,000 participants, an increase of 25 percent compared to 2024. There are 3,362 international athletes who from 86 countries, France, Australia, the United States and Japan participated the most. His Excellency warmly welcomed our compatriots and foreign friends who came for the first time and returned again with love for Cambodia. Although we come from different countries and speak different languages, today we speak one language, the language of sport and solidarity.
His Excellency emphasized that, the fact that we have gathered here today is not a coincidence, but the fruit of complete peace. As the slogan says, "Sports live in peace". Sports bring health and solidarity between nations.

It should be reminded that, the 30th Angkor International Marathon Day 2025, which took place in front of the Angkor complex, had four disciplines such as 21-kilometer race had 4,000 participants, the 10-kilometer race had 8,000 participants, the 5-kilometer race had 3,700 participants, and the 3-kilometer race had 250 participants.
