H.E. Vath Chamroeun, Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia, said that maintaining such as the impressive number is due to the confidence of the registrants. In fact, the Siem Reap tourist area still receives a large number of foreign tourists, which makes the registrants confident in the safety of participation. Meanwhile, the excellent organization of Phoenix Voyages company, with Mr. Edouard George as President, Mr. JEAN CLAUDE LE CORNEC as executive chief, and General Manager Mr. LE DIZES LUDOVIC, have also provided warmth to the participants.

The 9th Angkor Ultra Trail 2026 will be held on January 24 in Siem Reap Province. This annual running day is organized to promote national tourism, especially in the Angkor region, and to support humanitarian activities. Specifically, Phoenix Voyages will help repair schools, build wells, and other educational materials in Puok District, Siem Reap Province.

Therefore, relevant ministries and institutions are working hard to prepare well for this nature-related running day.

H.E. Vath Chamroeun expects that the large attendance of participants in the 9th Angkor Ultra Trail Day 2026 will further boost tourism in Siem Reap more and more, because as not only registrants to participate, but still has also participants such as the package tour participants who will spend a week in staying, walking, and participating in the competition.
