A team of two Cambodia table football athletes, male player Meun Ratana and male player Cheat Khemaravisoth, led by coach Nguon Chanborimey, departed from Techo International Airport on Saturday morning, October 18, heading to Manama, Bahrain to participate in the 2025 Asian Youth Games.

Mr. Mak Chanphirun, Secretary General of the Cambodia Table Football Federation, said that his team will compete in the singles and men's doubles events. This is the first time that the Cambodia national table football youth team will compete abroad. He hopes that they can maintain their spirits and focus on the competition well.

The Secretary-General said that: "This is the first time that the Asian Youth Games have table football, so it can be said that everything is new. For our young people, they have not competed abroad, but in warm-up matches against big teams, they can do it well. We also told them to keep their spirits to be good, not to be nervous because it is their first time. In fact, they have good qualities, but the important thing, they never go to compete abroad. We hope that they can keep their spirits well."

The table football competition at the 2025 Asian Youth Games in Bahrain will be held from October 20 to 24, and 16 countries will compete in this table football sport.
