The event of the 3rd AIA Pink Run 2025, organized by the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia (NOCC) with the aim of raising awareness and preventing the breast cancer, on October 19th, was held smoothly and was a resounding success with a large increase in participants, especially those who came for health screenings related to breast cancer.

H.E. Vath Chamroeun, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports and Secretary General of NOCC, told reporters that the 3rd organization which attracted more than 4,000 national and international participants, a 20% increase compared to last year, including more children, which is a positive sign of awareness of health issues and also a testament to the improved public health of Cambodian citizens.

What is the interesting thing, during the 3-day campaign to organize the race, in collaboration with AIA Cambodia, to provide free consultations and screenings for breast cancer, nearly 1,000 women participated in screenings for the disease. His Excellency considers this a success and what the commission wanted, which shows the results of the event and the awareness of the people.

It should be noted that, NOCC has received permission in principle from the Royal Government, under the coordination of relevant authorities, to organize the AIA Pink Run to raise awareness and prevent the breast cancer, in conjunction with a charity program. In fact, after the end of the above event, H.E. Vath Chamroeun, on behalf of the organizing commission, also donated $3,900 to the Breast Cancer Awareness Program Support Fund to be used to help relieve patients at Calmeter Hospital.
