The Cambodia Wushu
Federation held the general assembly to end the 6th mandate 2021-2025 and continue
the 7th mandate 2025-2029 on Monday afternoon, October 13, 2025, at the
headquarters of the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia.
In that, Lork Ouknha
Srun Bunthat received the support as president for the new mandate, accompanied
by 12 members, a total of 13 executive committee members to lead the 7th
mandate of the Wushu Federation.

H.E. Vath Chamroeun,
Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia, as the acting
president of the federation for the old mandate, praised the spirit of Lork Ouknha
Srun Bunthat and all executive members in leading the federation. Taking in
that opportunity,
H.E. Vath Chamroeun raised 5 special points to strengthen the
Wushu Federation, the first is the sport administration. The federation must
organize a process of documents, management, and meetings, which the president
of the federation and the secretary general are in charge of managing,
especially the secretary general. Although the Cambodia Wushu Federation is not
yet an Olympic sport, the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia still provides
administrative support.

The second point is
that the Wushu Federation must strengthen the international relations and
mobilize the support from the original owner country, that is China, especially
in terms of technology and sponsorship. The third point is to manage the
development of techniques for coaches, players and referees, etc. The fourth
point is to set up a marketing department, seek revenue, and organize events.
The fifth point is to plan to develop the event managers with annual
competitions in cooperation with the marketing department and organize events,
both domestic competitions and international competitions abroad.
