On the occasion of attending the World Sports Forum, H.E. Vath Chamroeun, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports and Acting President of the Cambodia Kun Lbokator Federation and International Kun Khmer Federation, together with H.E. Pech Khunpanha, Ambassador of Cambodia to Russian, inspected Kun Khmer club and Kun Lbokator Club at Secondary School No. 17 in Moscow on November 8, 2025.

In order to sow to youth and people, Russia has worked hard to develop sports of culture, and Khmer national identity by opening training grounds and training programs for nearly 1,000 students. At the same time, Russia has organized the national Kun Khmer and Kun Lbokator competitions every year and is expanding to higher education.

H.E. Vath Chamroeun said that, after receiving support from the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia (NOCC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Russia to jointly develop traditional sports in both countries.

In addition, the Russian delegation of Kun Khmer is preparing to participate in the World Kun Khmer Championship in Sihanoukville from December 17 to 20, 2025.

H.E. Vath Chamroeun considers this to be a testament to the work of developing of the national cultural sports to the world under the shadow of the peace and development of the Royal Government and the sports diplomacy policy of Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
