Indra Sjafri, coach of the Indonesian U22 national football team, plans to call up three players currently playing abroad to help the team defend its gold medal at the 2025 SEA Games in December.
The coach who led the Indonesian U22 team to win the men's football gold medal at the 2023 SEA Games in Cambodia two years ago wanted to include Marselino Ferdinan, Adrian Wibowo and Tim Geypens, but the three also have the right to opt out because the SEA Games are not part of FIFA's Days.

Marselino Ferdinan is a 21-year-old attacking midfielder who currently plays for AS Trenčín in the Slovak Premier League on loan from English club Oxford United.
Adrian Wibowo is a 19-year-old winger who plays for Los Angeles FC in the MLS and has an Indonesian father and an American mother.

Tim Geypens, a left-back playing in the Dutch League 2, is 20 years old and of Indonesian-Dutch descent.
For men's football competition in the 2025 SEA Games, Indonesia's U-22 team is in Group C with Myanmar, Philippines and Singapore, taking place from 3 to 18 December 2025.
